Your First Scan
The first scan of pregnancy is typically referred to as the “first trimester ultrasound” or “dating ultrasound.” It is a crucial medical procedure that is usually conducted around 6 to 9 weeks of gestation, although it can vary depending on the healthcare provider’s protocol and the circumstances of the pregnancy. This scan serves several important purposes like confirming pregnancy, checking Fetal heartbeat, determining gestational age, checking number of foetuses, checking for any risk factors and confirming viability. Let us enjoy this journey of learning exciting developments pre, during and post pregnancy.
Your Anatomy
It is important for every woman to understand the anatomy of her body. To do so, a woman must feel free and examine her body. Most women are not aware of the appearance of their sexual organs as compared to the other parts of their body. It is good to know that the vagina, which has a natural cleansing process, is cleaner than the inside of the mouth. Feel good about your body, it is not unclean or obscene. It is you. Get familiar with yourself.
Breathing and relaxation for Labor
The uterus is made up of strong muscles whose action causes it to open and let the baby pass. Childbirth therefore depends largely on the efficient working of the muscles of the uterus and the vagina. We teach all the breathing and relaxation techniques for the woman to counter labor by staying relaxed, so that the woman will have a shorter, less painful labor.
Breastfeeding
Breast milk is nutritionally balanced and easily available. It is tailor made as per the needs of the child, and prevents diseases by promoting health in the babies. If the mother has twins she will produce milk for two, in case the baby is sick mother’s milk will produce antibodies to fight the infection, nothing can replace the magic of mother’s milk. But due to wrong information, self-doubts and myths some mother discontinue this journey. Let us help mothers and encourage them breastfeed as also recommended by World Health Organisation (WHO). We have you covered.
