Why this class?
Fitness during and after the pregnancy period is often underestimated in the Indian society. But do not be mistaken, it is important to include some kind of fitness regimen during this period, especially after delivery/completion of the pregnancy. But we advise that it should always be done under the guidance of an expert who understands pregnancy and the dynamics around it.
“Wait for six weeks and you are ok to exercise” is not accurate general advice. The impact on your body of growing and birthing a baby is significant, it took 9 months for your body to adapt and change. Do you think that it’s realistic to develop a strong core, deep central stability system (made up of the diaphragm, pelvic floor, transverse abdominus and multifidus post 6 weeks of giving birth, whether you delivered vaginally or via C-section?)

These four muscles mentioned above need to work in unison, in order to achieve a strong, properly functioning core to provide a stable foundation for the body’s movements in day to day life.
Like most things exercise, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer to how soon is too soon and how much is too much. This programs shifts your mind to viewing your post-baby exercise plan as a plan focused on rehabilitation and not just mindlessly “getting back” to a weight or shape you had pre baby. This programme is a smarter approach, as it comes to having a body that lasts and being stronger than ever.
